Company activity
The company’s scope of activities includes the installation and commissioning of telecommunication systems, industrial and technical facilities; installation of power transmission lines and high-voltage substations; execution of all construction operations related to electrical installations; supply of human resources; construction and installation of power substations for power plants, residential complexes, and apartment buildings; as well as road construction and dam construction projects.
In addition, the company is engaged in general building construction works, manufacturing of concrete poles and electrical fittings, consulting on the equipping and maintenance of medical equipment, and the design, production, and supply of various solar energy systems, including educational training devices, lighting equipment, and solar power supply systems, in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of the country.
Overland distribution lines
Due to the fact that the construction of extra-high distribution networks within urban areas is extremely difficult and, in some cases, poses serious health risks to residents living in the vicinity of overhead power lines, the policies of the Ministry of Energy in the field of passive defense emphasize the implementation of these lines in underground form. Accordingly, regional electricity companies have been instructed to prioritize underground transmission projects.
In line with these policies, Ferdis Niroo Shiraz Company has been implementing projects in this field since 2006 (1385).
Examples of projects executed by the company in this area include:
- Construction of a 63 kV underground transmission line from Rey Power Plant to the 63 kV Tehran Oil Substation, with a total length of 5 km, executed on an EPC basis
- Construction of a 63 kV underground transmission line for Imam Hossein Substation and the 230/63 kV Fajr Substation in Bandar Abbas
- Construction of a 66 kV double-circuit transmission line in Bushehr
- Construction of a 63 kV underground transmission line from Nakhl-e Nakhoda, with a total length of 5 km
- Construction of a 63 kV underground transmission line from the Central Substation to the Downtown Substation of Roudan, located in Hormozgan Province
High pressure posts
- Development of the 230/63 kV Rey Gas-Insulated Substation and expansion of the 63 kV Rey Substation located at Tehran Oil, executed on an EPC basis
- Construction of the 230/33 kV Saran Dogonbadan Substation
- Tehran Oil Center 2B Substation, executed on an EPC basis
- Tehran Oil Center 2D Substation, executed on an EPC basis
- Construction of the 132/33 kV Shoosh 2 Substation
- Construction of the 132/33 kV Yasuj 2 Substation

Power transmission lines
Ferdis Niroo Shiraz Company has been actively operating in this field since 1999 (1378) and has, to date, implemented and commissioned extensive projects across the country. The company has executed and put into operation hundreds of kilometers of overhead medium-voltage networks, low-voltage distribution networks, and transformer installations in various regions of Iran.
In this area, the company has concluded more than 80 contracts with different employers. Below are a few examples of executed projects:
- Construction of 100 kilometers of medium-voltage distribution networks under the supervision of the Ministry of Industries
- Installation of lighting systems for six tunnels along the Dasht-e Arjan–Kazerun route
- Supply and installation of 30,000 street lighting fixtures in the provinces of Khorasan, Kurdistan, and Hormozgan
Solar energy
In response to the growing global demand for the use of renewable energy sources, the company began its activities in this field in 2008 (1387). In order to enhance the technical knowledge of its management and specialists, the company has participated in various conferences and exhibitions. Participation in the Solar Energy Exhibition and Seminar held in Abu Dhabi in 2011 is an example of these efforts.
Examples of projects carried out by the company in this field include:
- Providing electricity to 14 villages in the Kohhrang County through solar energy systems
- Construction of two solar power plants at Gahar Lake
- Design and manufacturing of solar energy system training equipment for selected technical and vocational training centers across the country
- Electrification of off-grid villages using solar energy in the southern regions of Kerman Province
- Supply and installation of 300-watt portable photovoltaic systems in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province
- Supply and installation of solar water heaters in Fars Province
